June Estelle is a native of Berkeley. Growing up it was very easy to be exposed to healthy eating like, fruit smoothies, superfood salads, and homemade trail mixes and granolas because I was surrounded by Back to Eden, Wholly Foods, The Collective Juice Bar, Berkeley Bowl Market Place and Monterrey Market just to name a few. Though I grew up in a family where soul food was a staple, I always gravitated towards a healthier option.
